Currently we are seeking, a full-time 40 hours a week Revenue Accountant in Newmarket.

Salary Range $63,00.00 – $68,000.00

This position assists with recordkeeping of Federal, State, local and private grants, invoicing, budgeting, and other grant and/or finance functions as directed.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to.

  • Accurately record patient accounts receivable activity in the general ledger monthly. Compute and record accounts receivable reserves and ensure that patient accounts receivable is correctly stated on the balance sheet.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of grants receivable postings in the general ledger and subledgers. Ensure the timely processing and collection of monthly grant invoices.
  • Ensures proper coding of invoices for grant activities. Monitor grant balances against budgets and work with program managers to ensure budget revisions are completed when necessary. Aid in the development of annual grant budget renewals and of budgets for new grant opportunities.
  • Assist with wage allocation recording, tracking and management.
  • Support annual operating budget under the direction of the Director of Finance

Qualifications:

Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Two plus years of experience in accounting is preferred. Experience working in non-profit accounting is a plus. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
